Residential Burglary Suspects Due in Court Wednesday

Two suspects are due to appear at the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice on Wednesday. A third suspect was arraigned Monday.

The uptick in residential burglaries continued last week with the Livermore Police Department  busting three suspects in two separate incidents, while also logging more break-ins -- the most recent in the city's southern sector.

Last week's arrestees, including the  are booked in court this week.

That pair from Bay Point, Todd Michael, 48, and Ramon Caudle, 29, are currently incarcerated at Santa Rita Jail, Dublin, after their Wednesday arrest for a reported Lakeland Drive break-in and the failed attempt to avoid capture.

Alleged getaway driver Michael, held on $125,000 bail, was arraigned Monday on felony charges of burglary and reckless evading of police, according to court records.

Booked on $60,000 bail, suspected burgling cohort Caudle, who police say jumped from the fleeing vehicle on Byron Highway, will enter his plea to felony burglary at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice, Pleasanton, records state.

And also slated in court Wednesday at 2 p.m. is the third burgling suspect of the week: Shane Singleton, 19, of Livermore.

Singleton, apprehended by police Wednesday for an incident on Hibiscus Way, will enter his plea to a burglary charge, files state.

Given the recent spate of burglaries, Livermore police suggest precautionary measures for residents that can be viewed here.

Rafael and his crew do great work, and not just lawn service. He replaced our sprinkler system andRead More sodded two new lawns when we moved into our house. He and his crew have trimmed trees, planted flowers, and even built a new fence and gate. All at a fair price. I can't recommend his services enough.

Kevin and Chris are good guys. They genuinely want to give back and care about introducing as manyRead More kids (young and old) as possible to the incredibly rewarding world of music. I am fortunate enough to have had somebody similar to these guys motivate me to get involved in music when I was a kid. 31 years later, I am still beatin’ on my drums every day. Great job Kev and Chris. Keep it up!
