UPDATE: 4 Arrested in Connection to Springtown Burglary

Police continue to investigate interrupted burglary reported Monday afternoon.

Police made four arrests Monday in connection to a residential burglary in Springtown, said Livermore Police Sgt. Todd Madrid.

The burglary occurred at a home on the 1900 block of Broadmoor Street, off Scenic Avenue.

Madrid was unable to provide details on the charges for the arrests made, but said those detained by police played some part in Monday's burglary.

At 1:35 p.m., police responded to a call from a resident that their home was being burglarized, Madrid said.

It is unknown how many burglars were inside the home and what, if anything, was taken from the residence.

Reports heard on a scanner said a man was seen fleeing from the residence.

An officer later saw a man, fitting a description of a suspect sent out to police, flagging down a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped several minutes later by police on Bluebell Drive.

The four arrested Monday were all found inside the stopped vehicle.

The three juveniles were transported to Alameda County Juvenile Hall in San Leandro. The woman is being held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, Madrid said.
