Police Investigating Bank Robbery

Police confirm reports that a bank was robbed Wednesday in Livermore.

The Chase Bank on North Vasco Road was robbed on Wednesday afternoon, according to Livermore police.

Officers responded to the bank at 2:31 p.m. and were told the suspects were last seen running northbound from the area.

Police have provided the following descriptions of the suspects via witness statements:

  • #1: Black male adult in his 20s with short hair, about 5’9” tall, clothed in a white t-shirt and shorts. The male was carry a purple bag or bandanna.
  • #2: Black male adult in his 20s with short hair, clothed in a black t-shirt with gold imprint and blue jeans.

No weapons were displayed during the robbery and no injuries were reported, police said.

Wednesday's incident is the second reported robbery at the bank this year.

In March, police say a man who robbed the bank made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Meanwhile, Pleasanton police are also investigating a Tuesday bank robbery where two suspects entered the Chase Bank at 5800 Stoneridge Mall Road.

Here are the suspect descriptions provided by police:

  • Suspect #1 is described as a black male adult 20-25 years old shaved head, no facial hair, 5’8’’ tall 150-180 pounds.
  • Suspect #2 is described as a black male adult 20-30 years old, short black hair, with a scruffy beard, 5’06” tall and 150-180 pounds.
