Police Activity Reported Behind Granada High School

Police have confirmed an investigation is being conducted in the area of the high school.

A police investigation is being conducted behind Granada High School in Livermore, according to police officials. Residents in the area have reported seeing numerous police cars and fire personnel in the 900 block of Murrieta Boulevard, which is near the back of the high school.

Livermore Police Officer Traci Rebiejo confirmed that there is an investigation in the area.

"No other information is currently available at this time as this is an active investigation," Rebiejo said.

Rebiejo says investigators will release more information as soon as more details become available. 

Livermore Patch has received multiple reports via the Livermore Patch Facebook page that the body of a man was found earlier this evening near the creek behind Granada High School. According to Google Maps, the creek in that area runs behind the high school and between the apartments in the 900 block of Murrieta Boulevard.
