Mudslides Close Tesla Road

Officials closed Tesla Road in San Joaquin County after heavy rains sent mud and boulders into the roadway. While the road will be open to local residents, the Alameda County Public Works Agency expects the road to remain closed to through traffic until at least Thursday.

Barricades are in place as crews work to remove debris from the road.
