Man in Critical Condition After Vehicle Strikes Tree

The victim was transported to the hospital after the crash on Murietta Boulevard.

A man was found in critical condition after his vehicle struck a tree in Livermore this morning.

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department responded to the single vehicle accident at 3:23 a.m. on Murietta Boulevard at Olivina Avenue, according to LPFD Battalian Chief Joe Testa.

The victim, whose identity is currently unknown, was transported to Eden Medical Center by Paramedic’s Plus, said Testa.

Disentanglement using the Hurst Tool was not required to extricate the victim from the car, according to Testa.

Two LPFD fire engines responded to the incident, and the Livermore Police Department was on the scene prior to the LPFD and throughout the incident.
