Livermore Woman Dead After Being Ejected From Car

Alcohol may be a factor in accident that left a 28-year-old Livermore woman dead in Humboldt County.

A 28-year-old Livermore woman died Friday after she was ejected from a car after it overturned in unincorporated Humboldt County, according to reports.

The Times-Standard reports Olyvia Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident was reported at 7:40 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol suspect alcohol may have played a factor in the accident as empty wine bottles were found at the scene.

Martinez, who was in the area visiting friends, was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. Her passenger, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
