Here's information provided by the :

On Wednesday, Livermore Police Detectives completed an extensive investigation that lead to the arrest of serial rape suspect, Andrez Rodriguez of Livermore.

Rodriguez, 34, was arrested March 16 on suspicion of sexually assaulting three women and threatening physical violence against those victims. Rodriguez allegedly attacked the three victims on three separate dates within the City of Livermore. After each reported attack, Rodriguez’ identity was unknown. Detectives, through several months of investigation, were able to positively identify Rodriguez through forensic evidence, as the person responsible for these attacks.

Rodriguez allegedly targeted females from out of the area who were engaged in prostitution. In each incident, Rodriguez lured the women to Livermore with the offers of large amounts of money in exchange for sexual contact. Rodriguez arranged through Internet websites to meet with each victim in the 2200 block of Portola Avenue.

Once the victims met Rodriguez, he would get into their car and threaten physical violence if they resisted his sexual assault. Rodriguez proceeded to attack the victims, and then stole their identification and cellular phones after the attack.

There was reluctance on behalf of the victims to come forward to law enforcement and report the attacks. The victims all feared they would not be believed due to the activity they were involved in. Detectives believe that there are possibly more victims and are trying to reach out to those possible victims.

Rodriguez was arraigned on March 20 on the following charges:
