Officials ID Livermore Man Killed in Big-Rig Crash on Highway 84
Todd Rizzo, 29, was killed on Saturday evening.
A man killed in a big-rig crash on state Highway 84 Saturday in the Sunol area has been identified as 29-year-old Todd Rizzo, of Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal collision, involving a jack-knifed big-rig, was reported at about 5:45 p.m. just east of Interstate Highway 680 near Sunol in unincorporated Alameda County, the CHP said.
A Sigalert was issued shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the CHP. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, the CHP reported.
