Livermore Man Arrested on Suspicion of Child Molestation

Police suspect there may be additional victims and are asking parents to talk to their children if they had contact with Joshua Rojas.

Here's information provided by the Livermore Police Department:

On Wednesday, May 1, 2013, Detectives from the Livermore Police Department arrested Joshua Isaiah Rojas, 28, of Livermore for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a child.  The arrest stemmed from a sexual assault investigation that occurred in Livermore during the month of March 2013.  Detectives concluded the case on May 1, 2013.  Rojas was arrested without incident and taken to Santa Rita Jail where he is being held on a $100,000 bail.

Rojas is scheduled to be arraigned at 11 a.m. Friday in Department 701 of the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice.

The victim in this case was an acquaintance of Rojas.

The Livermore Police Department believes there might be additional victims and is asking parents to talk to their children if they had contact with Rojas.
