Livermore Man Arrested on Suspicion of Assault With Deadly Weapon, Robbery
Police arrest 23-year-old following domestic dispute in north Livermore.
A 23-year-old Livermore man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and robbery, said Sgt. Erin Cole.
At 10 a.m., police were sent to the 500 block of North I Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted a woman who said her boyfriend pushed her down and held a knife to her throat.
The suspect, later identified as Juan Bigil, also took personal property belonging to the victim, Cole said.

Detectives in the area searched for Bigil and found him at 11:30 a.m. near Junction and North Livermore avenues. He was arrested without incident.
The victim suffered minor bruises, police said.

Bigil is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Department 701 of the Gale-Schenone Hall of Justice in Pleasanton. He is being held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin in lieu of $180,000 bail.
