Livermore Girl Visiting Hawaii Attacked by Shark

A 16-year-old Livermore girl visiting Hawaii on Tuesday was attacked by a shark, according to report.

A 16-year-old Livermore girl visiting Hawaii was attacked by a shark on Tuesday, according to a report by KGO.

The incident occurred in front of the Hololani Resort in Lahaina, Maui.

Further information from the KGO report:

Fire crews arrived to the beach in front of the Hololani Resort in Lahaina and found the girl with what appeared to be a 4- to 5-inch shark bite on her left calf.

The family opted to transport the girl on their own to get medical treatment.
