Join Livermore Police for 'Tip-A-Cop' Fundraiser

Law enforcement personnel will be raising money for Special Olympics Northern California on Thursday

By AUTUMN JOHNSON

Instead of carrying handcuffs, volunteers from the Livermore Police Department will be carrying trays, taking orders and raising money for Special Olympics athletes.

According to the Northern California Special Olympics website, Chili's restaurants will be hosting Law Enforcement Torch Run Tip-A-Cops all over Northern California.

The popular Tip-A-Cop fundraiser will be held between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on March 27 at the Chili's in Livermore.

Chili's is located at 4261 1st Street.

I think people who use screen names that have a passing reference to female anatomy should be harassed as well.

What is that about anatomy? And I have to agree with Mike that even at my age, I see nothing seriously wrong with piercings. I only take issue with what the kids are doing to their ear lobes.

I always think that Tip a Cop sounds like cow-tipping.
