Man Arrested on Suspicion of Child Molestation

40-year-old Livermore man faces 19 felony counts of child sex abuse, police said.

A 40-year-old Livermore man was arrested on suspicion of sexually molesting a child, police said.

Court records show Osvaldo Jimenez was taken into custody on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at an undisclosed location in town.

  • 15 counts of having sex with victim under age 14
  • 2 counts of oral copulation by force
  • 1 count of rape with minor under age 10
  • 1 count of repeated sexual abuse of minor under age 14

Investigators said the abuse is suspected to have taken place over eight to nine years. Police are not releasing any further details at this time.

Jimenez is being held at Santa Rita Jail in Dublin with no bail. He is scheduled to enter a plea and be arraigned at 9 a.m. Aug. 30 in Department 701 of the Gale Schenone Hall of Justice in Pleasanton.
