One person was taken to a nearby hospital last night after a two-car collision in the area of Isabel Avenue and Discovery Lane in Livermore resulted in a car fire, Livermore Pleasanton Fire officials said.

According to Livermore Pleasanton Fire Battalion Chief Joe Testa, two vehicles were found with moderate damage from a rear-end type collision, but one was completely engulfed in fire.

"All occupants were out of the vehicles" Testa said. "One of the passengers was taken to a local hospital by Paramedics Plus. The car fire was quickly extinguished. CHP was on scene and handling the investigation."

Or maybe some people are just too sympatico with a punch line to an old bear joke "Admit it Becky, you don't really come here for the hunting, do you?"
