UPDATE: Arroyo Mocho Creek Fire Contained

Firefighters consider blaze suspicious.

A grass fire charred about two acres Thursday along the Arroyo Mocho Creek in south Livermore, said Jeff Peters, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department battalion chief.

Firefighters were sent to the area just off Creek Road, near College Avenue, at around 3:35 p.m. for a report of a fire.

The small blaze was extinguished at 4 p.m., Peters said.

"There were some voices heard down there," Peters said.

The Alameda County Fire Department also helped battle the Arroyo Mocho Creek blaze, which comes a day after firefighters extinguished another near .
