UPDATE: Firefighters Contain Altamont Pass Brush Fire

Officials say small blaze charred two acres at the Altamont Pass in unincorporated Livermore.

Firefighters on Tuesday contained a brush fire that charred two acres at the Altamont Pass in unincorporated Livermore, officials said.

The fire was reported at 2:37 p.m. and firefighters were able to extinguish the small blaze by 3:17 p.m.
