County Coroner IDs Man Found in Creek Saturday

The Alameda County Coroner identified the man found dead in a creek behind Granada High School over the weekend as Michael Phillips. The coroner doesn’t yet know what killed the 62-year-old Livermore man, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Police found the body on Saturday evening, but were not able to comment on how long the body had been in the water.

According to Google Maps, the creek in that area runs behind Granada High School and between the apartments in the 900 block of Murrieta Boulevard.
