UPDATED: Lanes Reopened After Collision Blocks Eastbound Highway 84 in Sunol

A Sigalert was issued before 3 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes of eastbound state Highway 84 in Sunol have reopened following a vehicle collision this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Eastbound state Highway 84, just past Little Valley Road, was blocked by a multi-vehicle injury collision at about 2:25 a.m., according to the CHP.

A Sigalert was issued at 2:53 a.m. and the roadway was cleared shortly before 5 a.m., the CHP said.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
