Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.

Police are asking the public for help in finding a man suspected of robbing the Citibank on the 2100 block of Portola Avenue at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, according to officer Traci Rebiejo.

Witnesses said the man claimed he had a gun and demanded money from a bank teller before fleeing the scene. The amount of money taken has not been determined. Though he said he had a gun, none was seen.

He is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, standing 5 foot 10 inches tall with a heavy build, weighing between 220 pounds and 250 pounds.

He has reddish/brown sideburns, with a light mustache and goatee, police said. He was wearing a red baseball-style hat with a black bill, dark sun glasses and a black-hooded sweatshirt.

If you know the identity of this person, Livermore police asks you to call officer Rebiejo at 925-580-9665. You may remain anonymous.

Kevin and Chris are good guys. They genuinely want to give back and care about introducing as manyRead More kids (young and old) as possible to the incredibly rewarding world of music. I am fortunate enough to have had somebody similar to these guys motivate me to get involved in music when I was a kid. 31 years later, I am still beatin’ on my drums every day. Great job Kev and Chris. Keep it up!
