Chevron Robbed at Gunpoint by Masked Suspect

The suspect fled on foot, according to police.

A man wearing a mask and armed with a handgun robbed the Chevron gas station at 1051 Airway Boulevard in Livermore this morning, Livermore Police Officer Traci Rebiejo said.

"Around 7:45 a.m. we got a 9-1-1 call from the clerk who said she had just been robbed," Rebiejo said. "The suspect had fled on foot toward the nearby Residence Inn. Police responded and set up a perimeter. The suspect used a black handgun and demanded cash."

Rebiejo said the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and no one was injured during the robbery.

According to Rebiejo, the suspect is described as a black, male in his twenties. He is about 6 foot-3-inches tall, with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a mask, black hooded sweatshirt, "baggie" black pants and gloves. He is believed to be associated with a white 90's Honda Civic or possibly Pontiac sedan.
