Charter School Responds to Indecent Exposure Arrest

Officials say teacher arrested last week on suspicion of masturbating in public has been dismissed of his duties at the charter school.

Here's a statement provided by the Tri-Valley Learning Corporation:

Tri-Valley Learning Corporation learned last week that a former LVCP art teacher was arrested in Alameda County. The teacher had a very short tenure at LVCP having joined the staff at the start of the school year. The dismissal of this employee was unrelated to his arrest.

However, Tri-Valley Learning Corporation and LVCP take these charges very seriously and believe that student safety is of paramount importance. Students are being offered the opportunity to discuss any and all issues related to this former teacher.
