A male armed with a baseball bat robbed a woman Wednesday night at an ATM on First Street, according to the Livermore Police Department.
Police said the robbery occurred at the ATM machine at the Bank of America at 4213 First St. at about 10 p.m.
The suspected demanded that the victim give him all of her money, and then stole her cell phone, as well, police said.
The victim -- who was uninjured -- ran away from the suspect, entered a nearby business, and called 911. The suspect then left in a red sedan and left the area, police said.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 30 years old and between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 5 inches. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a black hooded sweatshirt, and in possession of a baseball bat, police said.
LPD officers obtained two images from the surveillance video system -- one of the suspect approaching from his vehicle, and the second of the suspect reportedly robbing the victim at the ATM machine.
Livermore police are seeking the community’s assistance in locating and identifying the suspect in this case.
If anyone has information or recognizes the suspect from the surveillance photos, they are encouraged to call the Livermore Police Department at (925) 294-7531.
