Balloon Release Marks 3 Months Since Nursing Student's Disappearance
Michelle Le, 26, was last seen May 27 at the Kaiser Permanente Hayward Medical Center.
Family and friends of , who will be missing for three months Saturday, will release balloons at a Hayward park to mark the day for the missing nursing student, a family spokeswoman said.
Le, 26, went missing on May 27 during a break from her clinical rotation at Kaiser Permanente Hayward Medical Center on Sleeping Hollow Avenue.
From 3 to 6 p.m., balloons will be released into East Bay skies and state Sen. Ellen Corbett, D-San Leandro, and a Hayward police inspector will speak at the event held at Mt. Eden Park off of Darwin Street.

Family spokeswoman Krystine Dinh said the Hayward Police Department continues to assure the public that this case will be solved in the near future.
"It has been a long 91 days," Dinh said in a statement. "We're hanging in there and trying to be positive — to keep faith that this case will be solved soon."

Le's family continues to hold out hope despite the fact that Hayward police classified Le's disappearance as a homicide.
The family is offering a $100,000 reward for her return or for information regarding her location.
