Hey! that's my bank. A little too close to home people.

Our bank too! That's scary. My son sometimes runs in for me to make quick deposits, not anymore!

Ugh, another crappy description of the person... Does the livermore police not want assistance from the public? When have you been in a bank and NOT had 5 cameras pointing in your face when you walk in the door?

Hopefully he only took from the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) money ... (-;

They put out the description over the scanner, they said he took off on foot. Probably went to a car out of view then onto 580. The amount taken was $6000

Big M...I agree. Was this the same description of the earlier robbery at West America Bank? If so, he should have enough to cover his rent and groceries for a while! I do not understand the pollice not giving a better description.
Big M March 27, 2012 at 08:42 PM
@SG: Probably on the street behind this shopping center. I don't have the luxury of listening to my scanner 24/7, so it would be helpful when they are writing these articles to include a full description. Suspect is Outstanding... yeah, with 6k of free money.

@Scanner guy @Big M can you e-mail me at kristofer.noceda@patch.com. I have a scanner question. Mine was acting weird and offline on Monday, which is why I missed this incident. Thanks
Scanner guy March 28, 2012 at 01:32 AM
@ Kris You and I have the same scanner issues. Mine didn't work Sunday, but has worked fine since.

whats with all the sudden crime spree in Livermore? Making me scared to go to work now
mike March 28, 2012 at 04:07 PM
Livermore while a fairly prosperous city in the prosperous Tri-Valley sits right on the freeway (easy access and egress) between the not-so-prosperous East Bay and central valley. Lucky us!

With that logic - how did they make it past Pleasanton? Pleasanton median household income in '09: $102,079 Livermore median household income in '09: $92,997 Why not blame it on the new Isabel and Portola off-ramps, and then suggest that when BART gets here criminals, vagrants, politicians, and rapists will flow through the doors onto our streets and crime stats will shoot through the roof. Be sure to not mention that the soonest BART will make it here is 2037. I'd be more worried about what our teachers and hummer moms are doing.

Are you questioning my logic, which is supported by facts, or the crooks logic which is an oxymoron to say the least.
Cherry March 29, 2012 at 05:26 PM
Don't be scared. Keep your head up
