An 83-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he fell off his scooter on Pine Street Sunday morning, according Livermore officer Traci Rebiejo.
A witness told Livermore police that they saw the man driving westbound on Pine Street, approaching Algonquin Avenue, when he steered to the right and fell.
As a result from the fall, the 83-year-old broke his arm and suffered a concussion.
Investigators discovered the right front tire to the scooter was flat, but it was not known if that played a role in the accident.
No other vehicles were involved and the accident is still under investigation.
