An apartment in Livermore has been deemed unsafe to occupy after a car backed over a retaining wall and crashed into the bedroom of the apartment, fire officials said.

According to Livermore Pleasanton Fire Battalion Chief Paul Legasa, the collision into a first floor apartment on Paseo Laguna Secco in Livermore occurred at about 1:48 p.m. on Saturday.

Although the apartment was occupied at the time of the crash, no one was injured.

Legasa says officials from Livermore Police and the City of Livermore Building Department responded to the collision, along with fire personnel and paramedics.

I lived in 148 (upstairs and just to the left of this apt) and that wall is at least 3 ft tall. How did the driver get the whole car up that and still keep going?
