A Time to Give to Yourself

The best gifts can be shared and grow forever.

If I could give you one gift, it would be one day at your fittest, healthiest condition possible so you could see and feel for yourself how good life can be.

If I could give you two gifts, I would add a deep, abiding sense of the much higher quality of life of that fit condition so the sense of it would never leave your mind and heart.

If I could give you three gifts, I would show you how to integrate that sense into your self-identification framework so that you saw your physical condition and the intrinsic value of that vitality as, literally, part of who you are.

If I could give you four gifts, I would teach you how to navigate that pathway to a fitter, healthier body and frame of mind so that you were making the absolute best use of your time and not only avoid injuries when training, but lower the risk of getting injured in your daily life.

If I could give you five gifts, I would show you how your new body and attitude positively influenced your circle of friends and family and inspired them to take better care of themselves.

If I could give you six gifts, I would show you how to give the first five gifts to yourself, and then keep giving for the rest of your life.

Amy (pictured above) chose to give herself those gifts and you can see the results. She’s strong and beautiful, inside and out. I’m so proud of her for her achievements and I’m proud to be a part of her gift to herself, and to others in her midst. Here are some other people you may know that have given themselves that same gift.

It’s a time for giving. Give to those who mean the most to you by giving to yourself.

There’s no better time than now.

Tri Valley Trainer will be at the downtown Pleasanton Farmer’s Market this Saturday. We’ll be introducing our “Season of Giving” program, donating 25% of all new membership fees to the American Red Cross to help Hurricane Sandy victims or to the local charity of your choice. Please come visit us and share the gift of health.
