An 'Earthquake Chaser,' A Salesman: Tri-Valley Death Notices

Ellen Manuel Harrison, 85, a Livermore resident died on Friday, Oct. 11 in Alamo, California, after a lengthy illness. Contributions can be made to Bruns House, Hospice Foundation of The East Bay, 3470 Buskirk Ave, Pleasanthill, CA 94523.

Henry Lagorio, 90, passed away on Oct.1, in Berkeley CA. In 1960, while on sabbatical in Rome, he met Natalie Croce, also from Oakland, who was working at the American Embassy, and they married in San Francisco in 1962. They made Berkeley their home until they started "chasing earthquakes." Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association , Northern California and Northern Nevada Chapter, 1060 La Avenida Street, Mountain View, CA 94040-2217, or the Leo Croce Scholarship Fund, Livermore Unified School District, 5650 Scenic Avenue, Livermore, CA 94551.

Susanne Vivion Cook, 75, Pleasanton resident passed away peacefully at her home on Sept. 23, with her two daughters by her side. In Lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life. Robert L. Jones, 90 passed away, Thursday, Oct. 10. He was a natural born, successful salesman. He started his own business in 1966 in Danville, CA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited or American Cancer Society.
