'Every 15 Minutes Livermore' was nominated in the Public Service Program or Special category.

Every 15 Minutes Livermore, an anti-drunken driving video, which featured a collision staged by the Livermore Police Department, was nominated for an Emmy Award. RocketSpots.tv Producer and Director, Christopher Smith says the dramatic video, used at schools for drunken driving education, competed against a video from the Filipino Channel and The New Environmentalists.

According to Smith, the Every 15 Minutes Livermore video took about a week to make.

"One interesting note is the Livermore Police Department stages an actual car crash," Smith said. "The people at Livermore Police Department who coordinated the Every 15 Minutes program (and hired us to shoot) were Traci
Rebejo and Steven Veil. Wes Morgan, a former Livermore PD officer, did the stunt driving in the crash shown in the video."

Livermore Officer Traci Rebiejo helped to create the collision in the video.

"It was such an honor to be nominated," Rebiejo said. "The Every 15 Minutes program has so touch my life and the students and their parents has said the same thing!"

The Emmy Awards were June 15 at the Union Square Hilton in San Francisco and although the video did not win, according to the Every 15 Minutes Facebook page, "It's just an honor to be nominated."

Smith says Ryan Neisz helped with the video.

"We have won two previous Emmys for our Every 15 Minutes work in 2011 (Every 15 Minutes: Castro Valley High School 2010) and 2012 (Every 15 Minutes: San Leandro High School 2011)," he said. "RocketSpots.tv specializes in web videos, commercials, live broadcasting to the internet and reality show sizzle reels. Ryan's company, C2Mnow.com, specializes in commercials and reality show sizzle reels."
