Livermore Couple Seeks, Finds Bald Eagles

The two have been searching for the birds since 2010.

Livermore is home to many, including Bald Eagles and for Livermore resident Dizzy Dez capturing the bird has been top of mind for more than a year.

"We live in Livermore and we've been going to Del Valle for about three years to see if we could find them," Dez says.  "On the 4th of July, 2012, we watched an adult bald eagle carry a branch to a tree near the Del Valle camp ground.

"They built their nest and we watched the male and female for several months where they successfully hatched three eggs," he says. "Since the Spring of 2013, we were honored to watch them grow and finally fly away."
