FloraTech Sponsors Livermore Fireworks

FloraTech takes a lead roll in sponsoring the Livermore Fireworks with $12,000 sponsorship.

Dean Schenone, Chairman/CEO of FloraTech Landscape Management presented a $12,000 check to Wendy Weathers, Chairperson Livermore Fireworks Community Committee, Friday, April 20 at Livermore City Hall.  FloraTech Landscape Management, a locally owned and operated full service landscape management and construction company, is proud to be taking a lead sponsorship roll in the effort to bring back the Livermore Fireworks and annual 4th-of-July festivities.  Pending final approval of appropriate approvals and permits, the 2012 celebration will move to , and the sponsorship from FloraTech significantly contributes to the necessary private funding.

FloraTech becomes the second sponsor of the Livermore Fireworks, as Al Phillips, Candidate for State Assembly District 16, was the first to step up as a Silver Sponsor at the $2,500 level.  With the two sponsorships, community donations, t-shirt sales, and proceeds from a March 2012 fundraiser, over $27,000 in private funds has been raised to date. In total, $46,000 in private funding is needed to cover expenses prior to the event.  Parking and entrance fees on July 4th will cover the remaining expenses for the community wide celebration.
