The Invasion of Kids, Candy,...and Savings!

Live More, Save More at the Halloween Carnival:

On Saturday Oct. 26, the Live More, Save More program held a table and game downtown in order to increase our outreach efforts in the local community. Also, it was great to get into the Halloween spirit. Interns including myself, Nadia Hassen, Areli Hernandez, Ivan Valdez, and Max Zhuang ran the event smoothly and had a lot of fun in the process.

Our activity was a Jack-o-Lantern toss, where kids had to throw ping pong balls into the openings and score at least 15 points. It proved to be a great success and the line was very long, just to wait for our game! On a "greener" note, our Jack-O-Lantern was constructed out of reusable materials.

We had the opportunity to talk about our program and pass out flyers as well. It was fantastic exposure to the Live More, Save More effort and we hope to participate in more events like this in the future.
