Six days after she went missing, little Chloe, the cocker spaniel-dachshund mix from Livermore is safe and back home.
"What a beautiful day," says Livermore resident and friend of Chloe's owner Kathy Parker. "It was wonderful waking up to such amazing news! Thank you everyone for your warm thoughts, prayers, efforts and support!"
The pup was first reported lost on Sept. 6 and, after a few sightings in Livermore, then Pleasanton was found by a couple of dog walkers that saw her near the creek by Hagemann Park in Livermore.
"They wouldn't take any reward money," Parker says. "They were just happy to see her returned to her owner.
The little dog was found a little matted and had some cattails in her fur, but that was the worst of it.
"She looks so happy to be found and healthy," Parker says. "They [the dog walkers] were saints!"
