A doula offers care and support to women before, during and after child birth.
Doulas offer a wide variety of comfort measures for labor. We will teach you and your partner relaxation techniques, labor positions, comfort measures, acupressure, essential oils and massage. Some doulas also use TENS units in labor.
Doulas support ladies who labor in all different ways, natural labors, medicated labors, c-sections, high risk and emergency situations.
Most doulas offer: all the phone & email interaction you want, 2 prenatal visits, labor and delivery on call for 4 weeks, laboring with you at your home, and a post partum visit at home after delivery.
