Bells Across America

Bells Across America -- The Josefa Higuera Livermore Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will participate in the nationwide commemoration of the 225th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution by ringing bells on September 17th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Asbury Methodist Church, 4743 East Ave., Livermore, CA.   This will coincide with the 4:00 p.m. bell ringing in Philadelphia where the Constitution was written and first read to the public on September 17, 1787.  You may bring your own bell or bells will be available for ringing.  Please arrive by 12:45 p.m.
