The Wasabi Bistro in Livermore’s Springtown district is THE place to be!!! Located at 922 Larkspur Dr. is the freshest new joint in town! Chef/owner Danny and his wife/business partner have opened a jewel of a Sushi restaurant.
When we spoke with him, Danny had just opened Wasabi Bistro, and the reviews were rave! FRESH fish, only and always he told us in no uncertain terms. Another fun fact Danny wants you to know about the Wasabi Bistro; all the Sushi chefs are Japanese. He takes pride in his heritage, he takes pride in his restaurant, and he takes pride in knowing that his IS the best Sushi in Livermore.

Danny was the private chef of the Oakland A’s baseball club, and still has ties to the organization as caterer/private chef/nutritional consultant, etc. The man may wear a lot of hats, but he wears them well…

It’s easy to find the Wasabi Bistro by the way, just look for the line extending out the door and down the street. The word is out my friends, and this little place is happening!! No kidding, you may have to wait a bit to get your seat, but it will be well worth it when you do!
