Next Sunday is the NFC Championship game. (As if you didn't know) If you're looking for THE best place in town to watch our Niners kick the bird@#*% out of them lousy no good cheatin chickenhawks, (I mean't Seahawks, excuse me Seattle fans) Beeb's Sports Grill at Las Positas Golf Club Livermore, is my personal favorite. They have about a hundred and ninety huge TV's in the place, and all of them are in awesome hi-def. That alone is reason enough to go there...
However Beeb's Sports Grill has a teriffic menu starting with the bar food, (yes they have a full bar) I believe the lay people out there say "Appetizers". Anyway you've got your choice of garlic fries (Amazing) mozzarella sticks (a neccessary evil) spicy chicken wings (it ain't football watchin' if wings aren't involved) nachos (oh man the NACHOS!) and/or a sampler combo... Now these foods are needed long before game time,and appropriately Beeb's Sports Grill calls em "Pre game Starters"...
When the hoopla is over and the game has begun, Beebs's Sports Grill makes the best Burgers this side of Jimmy Buffet's home town!!! From the 'Beeb's Burger' to the 'California Special' - A half pound burger with bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato,and red onion served on grilled sourdough!- (I can't wait till Sunday, I'm going to have get my fix today!)
You will not be disappointed folks, Beeb's Sports Grill is a great place for everyone. Bring the kids, bring your friends, come on over alone, it just doesn't matter. Owners Jeanne Beiber and husband have created such a friendly atmosphere that everybody feels and really is welcomed as if they were family.
