From an old REM song, Friday, December 21, marks 'the end of the world as we know it...,' as the Mayan calendar comes to an end.
Catastrophists say the world will end on this day, while the more scholarly among us recognize this day as the start of a new cycle- an age of enlightenment. Either way, the outcome will be certain by 5 PM, when we begin, extending our hours this evening to 8 PM.
To usher in this new age, we will be releasing our first port-style wine, OPPORTUNITY. We will taste this new port for the first time, along with our beloved Angelica. Light appetizers will complement the wines.
