Cheza Nami Foundation, Inc is excited to host a magical afternoon of Kenyan art, dance, poetry, music, food and fashion at the Bothwell Arts Center in Livermore. This special family event will give community members a tangible experience of Kenyan culture through touch, taste and conversation. The event will conclude with audience participation in an African drum circle, in collaboration with Kenyan visual and performance artists. Activities include children's African-style face painting, a raffle, African drumming and dance. We will also have a market place with African arts and crafts. This event takes place on November 17, 2013 from 3-6 pm.
