Sustainibility o|◕ˇーˇ◕。|o

On Monday, September 16, 2013, Livermore was awarded to the highest degree for being one of the most sustainable cities. But, this award can not be given to just one person, but the Capacity Project including Chevron, Bridgelux, WattzOn, and the interns/students whose outreach has impacted everyone saving money and creating green energy.
At the event, there were many high ranking moguls presenting Livermore's achievements, but some were from a former Livermore High School alumni named Laila Hassen. She gave a speech on how the extra-curricular activities has helped achieve her dreams of going to UC Davis touching many hearts. The local high school also had some of their outstanding students participate by bringing their science fair projects and explaining them to the people at the event. After the presentations and picture takings, the event bloomed into a mingle while admiring the new solar panel farm behind the Civic Center Library in the vineyards. In the end, the event was spectacular!
