Music Festival Expected to Draw Thousands

The Aug. 13 Christian music festival features national and local bands, a street fair atmosphere, and plenty of fun for children, too. The event is free.

The Enduring Word Music Festival, presented by , will take place at Castro Valley High School on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

National and local bands are featured, including Luis Lenzi, 3 In the Same, Mark Kenoly of Mark Kenoly & Kingdom Voice, Martin Cantu of L-Rey, Rev City Blues Band and Racing 24/7.

The event is free and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. The festival will offer a street fair atmosphere with vendor booths, food and a large children’s area. The children’s area will offer games, prizes, jumpers face painting, arts and crafts all for free.

The main attraction is the music and Castro Valley High School’s Trojan Stadium has proven to be a great venue.

The artists will perform on the field with attendees sitting in the bleachers.

Castro Valley High School is not only the venue hosting the event, the school will also benefit from fundraising efforts. While the event is free, we will solicit donations, 100 percent of which will go directly to Castro Valley High School.
