Cottage Preschool is a wonderful place to send your children. Both of my kids have attended the 3 year old through the PreK class and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are so loving and caring and it has such a homey atmosphere. I have heard from a number of other parents that the minute they set foot inside Cottage, they felt at home and knew it was the place they wanted their children to be. Check it out for yourself. Your child can join right in while you see how a typical day is run.

We love Cottage Preschool! My son started with their 2 1/2 year old program and we are now in our 3rd year. The staff is excellent and I trust them completely. Cottage feels more like a school family than just another preschool.

There are many options for Preschools and parents need to find their comfortable "fit". I know that Cottage Preschool has dedicated teachers ( the owner was a teacher for many years prior) who create successful and fun age appropriate learning experiences that take them through their years. The children grow from time they start and are comfortably ready to walk into their kindergarden class for the first time. Every day there are things that the teachers took time to plan that incorporate things like stories, related crafts, sharing, singing and facilitate the ability to grow and express themselves one on one and enable the same confidence in a group setting. I love the seasonal fun things they do and I love the safe environment, both with the care that the staff takes to maintain cleanliness and that kiddo's feel happy to go to "their" school each time. What a Great experience! Parents should difinitely include a visit to Cottage Preschool when doing your homework before you make your important decision of where your child should attend school! :)

Cottage Pre school is the best!!! The atmosphere is perfect for the kids. They eat lunch outside when weather Permits. The teachers are the best. My daughter went to Cottage for 2years. And enjoyed every minute. They treat your child as they were there own. Leslie ,Celia & Stella are great. My daught still remembers the things she learned At Cottage. I researched alot and was very happy when I walked in to Cottage. They have limited spaces and we were so fortunate to make the cut off. The thanksgiving feast my daughter still talks about. And thanks Celia for all Those underdogs!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful you all are. And ready for kindergarten in so many ways. This is the choice for the Best Preschool - Cottage Pre School Thanks again for all the great memories. MmAP

Cottage preschool is an amazing school that equips children for their school years and beyond. My daughter had to have special speech and occupational therapy before preschool and her therapist recommended Cottage for a smooth transition. My daughter is now in kindergarten thriving and exceeding normal standards! My son now goes to Cottage, and I could not have asked for a better community for him, or for our family.

I have had both my kids at Christian World, my oldest went on to be accepted to an elite private school in the bay area so they did something right for her!!!!! My youngest is now there in the preschool program and at 3 is writing his name, counting and spelling. They are a preschool and daycare so for the working parents, it is fantastic! They feed the kids good food and make sure to burn up some of that energy we need burned off. I shopped around, asked around and this was the most affordable, flexible and comfortable solution for us. Both of my children LOVE it and my oldest is eager to go spend the day there when she can. Most importantly, I completely TRUST the staff. We had issues with a previous day care so trust for me is HUGE! Need I say more? I highly recommend Christian World!

My son has gone to Holy Cross for the last 2 years. We love the teachers and staff! They are the best and I would recommend the school to anyone!

Christian World is incredible! Huge indoor play space for rainy weather days. Field trips brought to the school, saving money and parent hassle. Meals that have taught our grandchildren to enjoy a healthy variety of foods. I have talked to public school kindergarten teachers that are amazed at the education of the kids graduating from this school. Family interaction days are off the chart for Mother's and Father's day...full stage performance for Christmas with every child given a speaking part. The director runs it from the heart of a Mother/Grandmother! My grandchildren (2 currently enrolled and one to start soon) have thrived and LOVE the staff! Never a tear!

We have had a wonderful experience at Kinderkirk! My three youngest children attended there for all their preschool and pre-k years, and they had a fabulous experience. Most of the teachers have been there for 20+ years, some longer, and have a wealth of experience and love what they do, and it is evident in how they care for their students. They are extremely invested in the program and in providing the best environment. Excellent program and affordable as well!

I worked as a preschool teacher for many, many years I've worked in schools in Livermore, Dublin & Danville. Cottage Preschool was by far the very "Best" the "Cream of the Crop". The staff is professional and experienced, caring and neurturing. The parent envolvement at the school is a coop that provides a wide range of skills and ideas. My Granddaughters went through at this school .That even includes a grandgirl that commuted in from Tracy. The school is by far the Best schooling situation for a youngster.

My Daughter has been going to Cottage for the past 2 years. I cant wait for my 1 year old to attend here. The teachers are top notch and love what they do. Also the parent participation I feel is a great addition to the pre-school environment.

Christian World is the best. They offer the best value as well as care. We have tried others with our other kids.

My daughter has attended Cottage Preschool for 2 years. She absolutely loves her teachers and her friends there. Her father and I love the small class feeling and the overall learning experience. Teachers Leslie, Celia, and Stella are excellent teachers.

Cottage Preschool gets my vote as the best in Livermore. For one reason is that the Director is a tenured elementary teacher (K- 3) that taught in the Pleasanton school district. She knows what is needed in kindergarten and will provide the children the environment and curriculum to best prepare the child for the real world in kindergarten. In fact, all three of her own children attended Cottage and benefited from the experience which was one reason she secured Cottage when it bacame available. The preschool has continued in the same mode that it had been operating. She makes learning fun by her enthusiam.

Cottage Preschool is indeed the best preschool in town. Cottage was the last school I checked out and immediately knew this was the perfect learning environment for my 3 yr old. Director Leslie Wirth has years of teaching experience in Pleasanton USD and had a well-planned curriculum. Like other kids, my daughter still remembers the good old days. She loves her teachers and her friends. Talking about Cottage always brings a smile to her face. Great nurturing, caring and loving teachers. Teachers are like our second moms. If you believe in this, then at least check this site out. It is a co-op school. So you not only have the great opportunity to be involved in your child(ren) school, you are also saving a lot of money. As one commercial says, for dollar per dollar challenge, Cottage Preschool offers you the best for your buck!!!!

We love Storyland!! Both of our kids love their teachers and are always coming home showing us something new that they have learned. My oldest daughter has been at Storyland since she was 2 years old, she is now in Kindergarten and attends the after school program at Storyland. When she started Kindergarten she was academically more advanced than most of the children in her class. We will always recommend Storyland to everyone we know!

Cottage Pre-School is truly an amazing preschool. Three out of my four children have attended this school. The staff is loving, kind and compassionate. They treat your children as they are their own. They prepare kids for their school years and beyond. When I was researching pre-schools for my twins, Cottage just felt right. If you are looking for a pre-school, Cottage is a wonderful place to send your children.

We love Sunset Christian. My son has learned so much since he has started there. He has made a lot of good friends and loves his teachers.

Livermore Playschool is not only the best preschool for your kids, I dare say they are the best to work for as well! I have had 3 children go through LPS and have worked off/on for them for many years and can't imagine being anywhere else. My kids not only met the standards when they started kindergarten, thanks to the awesome teachers and staff, they were ahead of the game from day one! I am now the proud parent of a GATE student and an Honors Core student :0) Thank you LPS!!
Proud Mama March 09, 2012 at 12:58 AM
Livermore Playschool is also a great school, especially if you're looking to highten your childs' education. I have 2 children who have gone through LPS and a 3rd currently enrolled. The 2 school-aged ones have always been at the top of their class since kindergarten, which has recently led to 1 of them testing and qualifying for the GATE program, and the older one being placed in Honor's Core classes (college prep) when he starts high school in the Fall. LPS has the perfect balance of fun and learning, and it is worth every penny!!

Holy Cross is the best preschool because the curriculum is excellent, the teachers are dedicated to the children aand its a very loving environment. Three of my grandchildren went there and loved it! They were very prepared for kindergarten, and are excelling in school because of the great start they received at Holy Cross. JAM

Sunset Christian Preschool is the best. All three of my children went to school there (and continued their elementary education there). The staff is loving and caring. They prepared my children academically for Kindergarten as well as giving them a LOVE for learning. The teachers also helped to instill a love for Jesus. They helped to develop the good moral foundation that we are trying to instill at home.

Thank you for clarifying that Cottage is the former Wee Care! I went there 25 years ago and still remember MaryAnn, Janice, and Terri! That's what a great school it is! I remember feeling secure and enjoying every experience there. They encourage open ended, creative play experiences! I am so amazed those three woman are still loving and teaching children! What a blessing to our community!

My daughter, now 12 attended the ARK. She as well as the other children were very academically ready for, or over ready for Kindegarten. Her Kindergarten teacher had her helping the other students so she wouldn't become too bored. I help her at home as well, so not everything was to the credit if the ARK, but we focused on the same things. The also had fun family events and events and parties for the children. All of the staff was very friendly and my daughter lived all of them. Two things I didn't care for in all honesty were they kept the lights off or low too often and the bathroom situation. Thise things might have been changed in hd past few years though. Over all we lived the ARK and they are great at preparing the children to enter kindergarten.

Sorry for the typos in the above, fat fingers and typing on an iPod. I'm sure you can figure out what I was trying to say.

Cottage pre-school for sure is the best. My older son had gone to two preschools before kindergarten and I wasn't happy with either. So when it was time to find a preschool for my younger son I checked out cottage (friend recommendation) I sat in on a class and was sold in the first 1/2 hour. The teachers are wonderful! So caring and nurturing my son adores his teachers. This is his 3rd year at cottage and I am very confident that he is more than ready to tackle kindergartener in the fall.

Valley Montessori School (VMS) provides a superb toddler through upper elementary program! My daughter began in the Toddler Program and is now in the Primary Program. Her directresses (Montessori teachers) are phenomenal. She is intrigued by the "works" available and is thriving in the self-paced environment. I love that she is in an environment where she can learn from older peers as well as from her teachers. It is such a gift that my child loves to learn and looks forward to going to school each day at VMS.
