The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, operator of the Wheels bus system, will implement the following changes to its local fixed route services effective Saturday, January 26, 2013.
SUMMARY OF SERVICE CHANGES
Routes 1A and 1B: These two routes have been simplified into one route, called “Route 1”. Route 1 runs in one direction, clockwise, all day. On weekends, the area formerly served by the Fallon Rd extension will be served by Route 12.

Routes 8A and 8B:By combining the Owens Dr and Santa Rita Rd alignment of the 10V with the Hopyard Rd to Downtown Pleasanton alignment of the 8, a full circle was created, starting and ending at the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. The Pleasanton downtown area and Kottinger Park will be served in a clockwise direction all day by both Route 8A and 8B. Both routes will cover all points formerly served by the previous alignments, with the exception that Route 8A will not serve Wild Rose and Route 8B will not enter the Koll Parkway loop.
Route 10: Two early morning trips have been added to meet the BART trains. Route 10V service has been incorporated into Route 8A and 8B.
