Five cards found in a thrift shop in Hayward gave five women in Alameda County a very unexpected holiday wish.
According to CBS 5, the cards, which had been sealed and addressed, were found by Pam Russo of Castro Valley. Russo told CBS 5 reporter Juliette Goodrich that she stamped and mailed the cards with a note.
The five card recipients wrote to Russo to thank her for sending them as they had been written five years prior by a friend who had since died of cancer. See the full story here.
