Mail theft

My husband and I relocatd to this beautiful city three weeks ago after living in the Chicagoland area for the past 23 years. We love the town with the vibrant downtown area and the scenic vineyards. - we bought a home that backs up to the vineyards. The first week of living in this town, we were victims of mail theft- our outgoing mail was stolen right put of,our mailbox- all of them were bills. The weeks that followed included numerous events of credit card fraud and checking account hacking under the cover of PG& E. We reported this to the local police dept. and to the Postmaster, who acted like this had never occurred In this town before. Well, after sharing our nightmare with other citizens of this town, we have discovered that this is not,the first time this has occurred in this town. I am posting this as a warning to you so you don't have to go thru the headaches we've had the past month. Do not put your outgping mail in your mailbox or you are at risk too!
