ProctorU Celebrates New Office Opening

LIVERMORE, Calif. - ProctorU is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new facility in Livermore, Calif. that is more than twice the size of the company’s previous office in the same city. The event will be held Thursday May 8, at 4 p.m. at 3083 Independence Drive, Suite A, in Livermore and is open to the public.   

In 2011 Alameda County became the home of ProctorU’s second office, and the company has continued to expand due to market demand and business growth.

“We have been thrilled with the Livermore community and are dedicated to keeping ProctorU’s flagship operation in the area,” ProctorU President Don Kassner said. “ProctorU averages tens of thousands of tests per month and is continuously breaking internal company milestones.”

The expanded Livermore office began operation in January now has over 160 employees and a hiring surge in early 2014 brought over 50 new jobs to the Livermore area. The company continues to hire and interested job candidates are encouraged to visit www.proclife.com to apply.

ProctorU’s former Livermore, Calif. office was a 3,200 square foot space in the Sunset Office Plaza and the company is now using a 10,000 square foot office on Independence Avenue. The move comes just in time as ProctorU doubled the number of tests proctored for the fourth consecutive year in a row. The rapid growth comes from doubling ProctorU’s partners in the last year. Company executives are considering future expansion in Livermore, bringing dozens more jobs to the area.  

ProctorU was founded in Hoover, Ala. in 2008 and opened its second office in Livermore, Calif. in the spring of 2011. A third office was opened in Folsom, Calif. in 2013 and a fourth office is being considered in the Phoenix area. Since 2008, ProctorU has ensured the integrity of over 500,000 exams and served test-takers on all seven continents and over 74 countries.
