That's when Barney's New York, Neiman Marcus, Polo Ralph Lauren and other high-end shops are scheduled to open in Livermore as part of the Paragon Outlets center.
Officials on Friday morning held a ceremony to kick off construction for the project.

The shopping center, formerly known as Prime Outlets Livermore Valley, will include more than 120 stores.
A food court also will be built as part of the project.
The development is expected to generate at least $1 million of sales tax revenue annually for the city.
