Taco Bell Appearance: SF Giant Angel Pagan Delights Crowds

Angel Pagan thrilled crowds of thousands at the Taco Bell on El Camino Real in Redwood City Tuesday.

For many, it was a brush with true greatness.

San Francisco Giants outfielder Angel Pagan made an appearance at the Taco Bell on El Camino Real in Redwood City on Tuesday, to the delight of at least 1,000 enthusiastic fans.

A line stretched nearly one block long just to get inside the store and catch a glimpse. Those that were lucky also got a hug, a photo and an autograph.

It was all part of the deal Taco Bell made that, if any Giants player stole a base during any of the World Series games, Taco Bell would give out free Doritos Locos tacos to customers. Since Pagan stole second base during Game 2, it was only fitting he take part in the festivities.

Free tacos were given out at many participating stores between 2-6 p.m. Tuesday - however, the Redwood City location was the only one where they were given out by a World Series champ.

Thank you D! We couldn't be happier to have a program like this in our community. We couldn't agreeRead More with you more that giving back is the whole purpose of the program; to make our community a stronger more musical one for our youth!

Kevin and Chris are good guys. They genuinely want to give back and care about introducing as manyRead More kids (young and old) as possible to the incredibly rewarding world of music. I am fortunate enough to have had somebody similar to these guys motivate me to get involved in music when I was a kid. 31 years later, I am still beatin’ on my drums every day. Great job Kev and Chris. Keep it up!
