Livermore's First Mathnasium Opens Next Month

Livermore resident Jonathan Bleecker fell in love three years ago.
Bleecker has run the Pleasanton Mathnasium location for the last three years.
"That's where I fell in love," he says.
Now, he's opening his own location, this time in his hometown of Livermore near the Safeway at 4471 First St. on Oct. 1.
"Many of the other tutoring schools locate in downtown," Bleecker says. "I took a gamble."
The new location is sandwiched between a veterinarian clinic and a chiropractic office. The first 20 students to enroll at the Livermore location will receive 20 percent off for the first two months, he says.
Bleecker graduated from UC Santa Cruz with his Masters Degree in Math. He expects to have a Grand Opening celebration in November.
